Two Ways to Add Image/Logo to Gmail Signature: If you want to add an image to your Gmail signature, you have come to the right place. In this particular article, quickly, we are going to show you how to add an image to your Gmail signature. Adding an image in your Gmail signature is not a straightforward process. You can’t just upload an image from your computer and use it in your Gmail signature. Gmail signature only allows URL of an image or a Logo. So, before adding an image in your Gmail signature, you have to make it available on the web, and then you have to add the URL of that image in your Gmail signature. The two simple methods are described here step by step for adding an image or a logo to your Gmail signature.
Method 1: Add Image to Gmail Signature From Gmail Inbox
Step-1: Open your Gmail account, click on the compose button. Then drag an image or logo from your computer and drop the file in the message body. Enter your own email address in the Gmail recipients field and click on the send button to send the email to your own email address (Everything is shown in the following diagram clearly).
Step-2: Open the received email from your inbox and right-click on the image then click on “Open image in new tab” option. Now, go to the new tab where your image is opened and copy the URL from the browser address bar (See the following step by step diagrams).
Further, to insert this URL of the image in Gmail signature follow the following steps.
1. Go back to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear button at the upper right corner.
3. Click on settings from the drop-down menu.
1. Under the Gmail settings section, go to the General settings section and then scroll down to the text box of the signature section.
2. Next, under the signature section, you have to change a set up “No Signature” to “Signature” button as you see in the picture below.
3. Click on the image icon at the top bar of the Gmail signature text box.
Step-5: When you will click on the insert image icon, a new window will open.
Next, under ‘Web Address (URL)’ section, paste the URL of the image which you already have copied in step 2. If your URL is the right one, then a preview of the image will appear on that screen. Click on the select button at the bottom left to insert the image into your Gmail signature text box. [Note: If you find any error message, then maybe you have entered the wrong URL]
After adding an image or a logo, if you want you can change the size of the image directly in the Gmail signature text box (see the diagram below).
Step-6: Now, your job is done! You have successfully inserted the image or logo into your Gmail signature. Now scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the Save Changes button.
Method 2: Add Image or a Logo to Your Gmail Signature Which is Already Available on Your Website
If you already have your webpage with a published image, then you have to copy the URL of the image which you want to add in your Gmail signature and follow the steps 3 to 6 which are already discussed in the Method 1.
Apart from these two methods, there are also many ways to insert an image in Gmail signature. For example, you may insert an image into your Gmail signature from your Google Drive account.
